Anyone looking for continuing education for private pesticide applicator training is invited to a class tomorrow in Jefferson.
Greene County Extension Director Lori Mannel says it will start at 1:30pm at Clover Hall on the fairgrounds in Jefferson. ISU Extension Field Agronomist Mark Johnson will lead the class.
“The program is going to run for two hours. It’s popular so area ag-professionals don’t need to take a test, so they can come in and take this continuing education (class).”
She reminds those who plan to come, what they need to bring with them.
“You got information in the mail, if you bring your card along, that helps with the process of registering. If you don’t have it, that’s fine, we’ll be happy to accommodate.”
The class costs $20 per person. No pre-registration is necessary.
