A deputy was advised of an erratic and careless driver on Highway 30 east of Scranton. The deputy located and initiated a traffic stop on that vehicle . The driver and the passenger were identified and evaluated by Field Sobriety Testing. Subsequently the two were allowed to continue.
A deputy was present during a household eviction procedure in the 200 block of West Paton Street in Paton.
The Sheriff provided traffic control at the intersection of Highway 144 and 230th Street while a disabled farm tractor was removed from the roadway.
A deputy was dispatched to the Landus Cooperative site in Scranton for a reported male subject trespassing on coop property. The described male was never located.
A deputy was advised of a farm pickup in the ditch on K Avenue near the southeast exit from Farlin.

Saturday, November 19th
A deputy investigated criminal mischief to a postal mailbox in the 800 block of 190th Street. The deputy determined that the mailbox was knocked down by farm equipment.
A deputy was advised of a harassment concern from a resident in the 900 block of Jefferson Street in Scranton involving a stalking incident in Jefferson.
A deputy was advised by the owner of a disabled vehicle, that it would be towed on Monday from along the roadway on Highway 30 west of Scranton.
A deputy was asked by the Webster County Sheriff’s Office to check the status of a reported single vehicle accident that occurred just into Webster County on Highway 144.
A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with responding to an e-911 medical call at the Wild Rose Casino.
Sunday, November 20th
A deputy responded to check the status of an abandoned e-911 call that mapped to the 1500 block of 120th Street.
A deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of 1st Street in Rippey for a parking concern.
A deputy assisted Jefferson Police Officers and the Iowa State Patrol with a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Highways 30&4.
A deputy, Jefferson Police Officers and the Jefferson Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 600 block of South Olive Street.
A deputy checked an abandoned /disabled vehicle on U Avenue (Highway 144) near 250th street.
A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with a domestic call in the 700 block of North Cedar Street in Jefferson.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
