Tomorrow is the big day, the grand finale for Iowa high school cross country teams and individuals as the state meet commences in Fort Dodge.

In class 1A one of those teams who will be showing up loud, proud, and in bunches will be the ACGC Chargers. The Chargers have both girls and boys teams participating along with seven individuals consisting of Kate Crawford, Emma Swanson, Cale Billheimer, Landon Foster, Clay Billheimer, Noah Nelson, and Logan Scheuermann.

Both Charger teams enter the state meet inside the top 15 teams in class 1A with the boys squad ranked 5th overall and the girls squad ranked 12th overall. Cale Billheimer and Landon Foster will represent the Chargers as the 21st and 22nd top runners in 1A respectively. On the girls squad the lone Lady Charger inside the top 30 will be Kate Crawford ranked 17th individually as she enters the state meet tomorrow.

All Charger runners will have some down time before they kick off their races. The girls race for class 1A doesn’t kick off until 2:00 tomorrow afternoon and the class 1A boys race won’t commence until 2:30 pm.
