Today is a new event that highlights local businesses along Highway 30.

Junktober 30 event features 29 businesses from Ogden to Denison for a junk jaunt. Five businesses in Greene County are participating and they include Skeeter Creek Fabricators; The Printer’s Box and Art on the Fly all in Jefferson; Country Blessings in rural Jefferson; and Sweet Betty Lou’s in Paton.

Other communities include Ogden, Carroll, Arcadia, Westside, Vail, Schleswig and Denison.

The one-day event is happening today from 8am to 6pm.
