A new safety device has arrived at the Guthrie County Courthouse.

The County recently took possession of a walk-through metal detector, manufactured by Rapiscan Systems, and ordered in early August at a cost of about $3,650.
The implementation of the metal detector is part of the Sheriff’s office plan to enhance courthouse security.
