Adair County Conservation is hosting a hunter safety training course next month.
Completion of the course is a requirement for anyone born in 1972 or later wanting to purchase an Iowa hunting license.
The first session of the two-session course takes place Thursday, October 6th from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Greenfield City Hall/Library. The second session takes place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, October 8th at the Mormon Trail Park maintenance shop.
The Conservation department notes this will be the last hunter safety training course offered in this area this year. Pre-registration is required by calling or stopping by the Conservation office in Greenfield.
