Student-athletes from Greene County High School are in action today in the sports of cross-country and girls’ swimming. The swimmers compete for Boone under an athletic sharing agreement and the Toreadors are in their home pool vs. Des Moines Roosevelt. Boone has a 6-0 dual meet record.

Greene County’s cross-country teams are scheduled for the Roland-Story Norsemen Invitational in Story City. This is the first meet on the Rams’ scheduled since the Sept. 8 Greene County Invitational. Other teams in Story City are Dallas Center-Grimes, Nevada, West Central Valley, Woodward Academy, Gilbert, Colo-Nesco, Kuemper Catholic, Bondurant-Farrar, Madrid, Ogden, Saydel (Des Moines), South Hamilton (Jewell), and Southeast Valley (Gowrie). Middle school races start at 4:30 p.m. with high school races to follow.
