Karah BrownA Jefferson woman was arrested Wednesday for allegedly entering a home without consent.

Police Chief Mark Clouse says at 2:48pm, officers responded to a call from Hayley Brown about her sister entering her home at 200 South Maple Street. Before the officers arrived on scene, 19 year-old Karah Jean Brown made a threat to seriously physically harm Hayley and she wanted to take items from the home that weren’t hers. After Hayley told Karah to leave, Karah forced her way into the house and stole some items and ran down the alley.

Officers caught up with Karah in the alley and arrested her. She is charged with a Class C Felony for second degree burglary, an aggravated misdemeanor for first degree harassment and a simple misdemeanor for fifth degree criminal mischief.

She was booked and released from the Greene County jail.
