The Adel City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
Items on the agenda include a public hearing in regards to adding the hotel and motel tax issue to the November election ballot and discussion and possible action on an annexation request for property south of Meadow Road and east of Highway 169.
The Council will then approve adding the seven percent hotel/motel tax issue to the general election ballot, approve depositories and a one-year $100,000 certificate of deposit with Raccoon Valley Bank and discuss the Main Street Reconstruction Project.
The possible sale of a city-owned lot at 425 River Street will then be discussed, along with approval of agreements for online utility billing, the purchase of a Ford Escape for the Parks and Recreation department, a bid for the pool repainting project, the parks and trails master plan, a change order and payment application for the Adel Historic Museum addition and setting a public hearing in regards to zoning changes.
The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Adel City Hall.
