The north and central portion of Dallas County has returned to normal soil moisture conditions but the remainder of our listening area continues to experience abnormally dry conditions.
It was a wet week for much of the Raccoon River Valley. The National Weather Service reports that Perry received more than 5.6 inches of rain this past week for a total of just under eight inches so far this month. Guthrie Center added around an inch and a half to their total for just over four inches in July. Normal rainfall totals for the first three weeks in July are between 3.1 and 3.4 inches.
