Funeral services for Fire Chief Randy Love, 56, of Jefferson, will be held 10:00am Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Greene County High School Auditorium. Interment services will be at 3:00pm Thursday at Carson Cemetery, Carson, Iowa.  Friends may call at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home after 11:00am Wednesday, July 20, 2016.  The family will be present from 4:00 – 8:00pm.  In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to the Jefferson Fire Department in memory of Randy Love.  There is an account at Peoples Trust and Saving Bank in Jefferson, or memorials may be left at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson. Online condolences may be left at www.sliningerschroeder.com

Survivors include three daughters: Sara (Josh) Mallinger of Des Moines, IA; Jessie Love of Huntsville, AL; and Abby Love of Des Moines, IA; father, Kenneth Love of Carson, IA; sister, Margaret “Jeannie” Love of Atlantic, IA; granddaughter, Cadence Mallinger; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
