A severe thunderstorm came through Greene County early Monday morning.

Raccoon Valley Radio’s Severe Weather Action Team provided live coverage of the severe thunderstorm when the National Weather Service issued the warning for east central Greene County from 1:51am to 2:17am.

Rainfall was the only factor with the storm. The National Weather Service issued the warning due to the potential of quarter-sized hail. No damage has been reported at this time.

Three Raccoon Valley Radio staff were in contact with WeatherEye meteorologists and local law enforcement during the storm. Three additional severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for Greene and Guthrie counties on Sunday.
