It’s hard to believe but we are a little more than one month away from the start of the next school year.

Jefferson Telecom is once again partnering with New Opportunities for the Back to School Supply Drive.

Donation items that are needed include new backpacks; number two pencils; red, blue and black ink pens; glue sticks; wide-ruled spiral notebooks; loose-leaf wide ruled paper; 16 count crayons and washable markers.

Donations will be accepted until August 1st at Jefferson Telecom. New Opportunities will then collect the items and distribute them to children in need.

First day of the 2016-17 school year for Greene County and Paton-Churdan is August 24th.
