Guthrie County Static Judging Day is right around the corner.
Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Mollie Clark says the event allows 4-H’ers to bring their exhibits to one of the biggest exhibitions in the state. “It’s so they can participate in the Iowa State Fair, as well. Because our fair takes place after the state fair, we choose to have them judged early.”
Judging takes place Monday from 1-5 p.m. at the old community building on the Guthrie County Fairgrounds. The doors will reopen at 8 p.m. and exhibits selected for the Iowa State Fair will be in the middle of the room.
