The Perry baseball team defeated Kuemper Catholic 7-6 Thursday night in non conference action at Progressive Field.  Perry led 7-0 heading into the 7th inning before Kuemper struck for 6 runs and stranded the tying run on base.  No player statistics were available at air time.  Perry improves to 11-17 on the season while Kuemper falls to 20-11. The loss snaps a 10 game winning streak for the Knights.

Perry will play two more regular season games next week against Pella and Winterset before traveling to Dallas Center Grimes next Friday night for an opening round district battle against the Mustangs at 7:00.
