If your business, club, organization, group or family wants to take part in Perry’s annual 4th of July parade there’s still time.
Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber says a heads-up is appreciated but walk-ins will also be accepted.
“If you’re going to come do the parade, let me know. We like to know in advance just to have a better idea of who is coming and what the line up is going to look like. The lineup starts at 9am at the East Perry Plaza. There’s no entry fee. We encourage a patriotic theme, obviously we’re celebrating Independence Day so let’s continue that theme.”
The parade heads west on Willis Avenue starting at 10am and the Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be there handing out candy to spectators before broadcasting live from Pattee Park that afternoon.
