The Tori’s Angels Foundation held their annual breakfast fundraiser on Sunday.

Member JoAnn Alumbaugh says that there were more than 400 individuals that attended the event, including several families who they support with donations. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that after tabulations, the group raised $12,500 from the auction, and $12,000 from the fundraiser itself, and that with the other donations that were made at the event, there should be nearly $28,000 that were raised. Alumbaugh mentions that it was extremely gratifying to see all the supporters, and the families at the event. She adds that while they were able to raise as much as they did, they are also looking forward to their other events later in the year, as the average cost to help each family is $5,000 per year. The next events for the Tori’s Angels Foundation are in September, with their Gala on September 13th, and the Wheeling for Healing bike event the following week.
