The Hotel Pattee in Perry is fully functioning again after a water leak occurred earlier this month.

According to Manager Jenny Eklund, employees noticed a water leak in the ceiling panel on the third floor on Monday, June 2nd. She details that the leak worsened when employees used a towel to check a nearby pipe, and the contact caused the pipe to burst.

Eklund says that a substantial amount of water trickled down to a room on the second floor, then continued to make its way towards the lobby area, prompting the hotel to temporarily shut down. She confirms that the hotel is back in operation, and credits all the hands involved for getting them back up and running.

“It was Rainbow Restoration that saved us. And they came in with their team and went to work and performed a miracle.”

Eklund shares that Hotel Pattee officially reopened all its services on Sunday, June 8th and is unsure of the cost of potential water damage that was done, but emphasizes that it will be covered by insurance.
