Girls’ soccer is in Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. today vs. the Panthers of Logan-Magnolia High School. Coach Wes Anderson’s Rams are 0-8 and have scored five goals this season, while allowing 64. Coach Anderson told Raccoon Valley Radio he’s seen the girls improve as the regular season has passed the halfway point. Although the goal total is modest, the 2025 Rams have already exceeded the four goals scored all of last season.

Todays’s 5:30 p.m. action is varsity only in non-conference play. The Panthers have played nine times with a record of three wins, three losses, and three ties.

The Rams play again tomorrow in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play in Jefferson. The Jayettes are coached by Maribel Hernandez, who coached the Rams for several seasons through 2024.
