Perry soccer is taking on Nevada tonight. The Bluejays will host the Cubs while the Jayettes head to Nevada. Both of tonight’s contests will be huge for the Heart of Iowa Conference standings.
Dewey Field will host the boy’s match up. Nevada and Perry both remain perfect in conference play. The Bluejays are 2-0 after a 10-1 win over Central Iowa United last week. The Cubs also sit at 2-0 in the HOIC and recently topped PCM 4-0. The winner will be the top contender along with Greene County to win the conference crown. Perry won the match up last year 2-1, however; Nevada has won four of the last five.
The Jayettes hit the road to take on the 10th ranked team in 1A, Nevada. Perry is coming off a 6-0 victory over Central Iowa United for their first conference win. The Cubs have been battle tested coming off 5 straight ranked fixtures. Nevada enters 2-0 in the Heart of Iowa Conference and a win would clinch the title. Perry has been outscored 29-0 in the last three matches against the Cubs. Coach Hernandez will have his full contingent without a track meet tonight.
Both games are scheduled to start at 7P.
