The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Track and Field Teams competed at the Drake Relays over the weekend, hitting multiple milestones in the process.

ADM had 11 athletes participate on the girls side, while there were 10 for the boys. The Tigers started strong as senior London Warmuth went five feet and seven inches to win an individual title in the high jump. The girls shuttle hurdle team of Elise Coghlan, Josi Dufoe, Bella Smyth, and Haley Nelson ran 1:02.06 for third place and a school record. 

Other performances for ADM included senior Calli Seehase (16-9) posting 16th place in the long jump, Coghlan finishing sixth in the 100 meter hurdles (14.78 seconds) as well as ninth in the 400 meter hurdles (1:05.45), the 4×200 meter relay team marked 11th, the 4×400 meter relay team was 15th, while the 4×100 meter relay team (49.12 seconds) placed seventh. 

The Tiger boys were able to represent well as senior Corbin Reed set a new personal record of 14.70 seconds in the 110 meter high hurdles, the 4×200 meter relay team finished 14th with a time of 1:29.45, the shuttle hurdle relay tallied 11th (1:00.04), and the 4×100 meter relay team marked 16th at 43.14 seconds.

The next meet for the Tiger girls will be back in Adel tomorrow for an invitational at 4:30pm, while the boys are traveling to Carlisle tomorrow at 4:15pm.
