
The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet twice tomorrow morning.
The Board will consider for approval a Louis Dreyfus funding request for the Churdan shelter house project and a resolution for the elected county officials salaries for the 2026 fiscal year. Then at 9am, the Board will hold a public hearing on the 2026 fiscal year budget, followed by the consideration to adopt the budget.
Additionally, the Board will consider for approval two resolutions for allocation of opioid settlement funds to Midwest Wellness and Recovery and the Greene County Peace Officer’s Association. They will also consider for approval a resolution appointing UMB Bank in West Des Moines as the paying and transfer agent, another resolution for approval and authorization of an agreement form to authorize the issuance of $11.5 million of general obligation urban renewal loan notes, as well as having a discussion on a public sex act ordinance.
