Excitement is in the air at Dallas Center-Grimes as senior Caden Mayfield has officially committed and signed to continue his academic and athletic career at Iowa Central Community College. Mayfield will continue his football career and join the Triton football team come August.

Mayfield was a key factor to the success of the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs defense this season as he finished the season with 19 solo tackles and 23 total tackles. Caden joined the Mustang football varsity team his sophomore season in 2022, and had a total career  52.5 tackles with 46 career solo tackles.

Mayfield will represent the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs from Council Bluffs as Mayfield joins the Triton football team at Iowa Central Community College come August.
