Youths looking to show sheep or goats in the 2025 Iowa State and Guthrie County Fairs.

Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Rachel Muir says that the sheep and goat weigh-in is tomorrow from 1-3pm at the sheep and goat barn at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds. She mentions that this is an important part of preparing for fair time, as the animals must be weighed for their categories, and get retinal scans for identification at the Iowa State Fair.
