An athlete from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Track and Field Team was named the champion during the Drake Relays on Friday.

ADM senior London Warmuth placed first in the girls high jump with a distance of five feet and seven inches as she beat out Hartwick-Ladora-Victor’s senior Ema Roberts and Emmetsburg junior Rachel Schany. Warmuth is already a two-time state champion in the high jump, but now has a medal from the Drake Relays to go with it.

Other results from the girls include senior Elise Coghlan getting sixth in the 100 meter hurdles, senior Calli Seehase was 16th in the long jump, and the girls 4×200 meter team finished 11th. The Tigers will be competing in more events today with the girls shuttle hurdles, the 4×100 meter relay, and Coghlan in the 400 meter hurdles. The boys will also run in their shuttle hurdle relay and the 4×100 meter relay. Stay tuned to Raccoon Valley Radio as we’ll have live updates throughout the day.
