
Coach Heath Telleen’s Greene County High School girls’ golf team was fourth among eight teams on Thursday in an 18 hole tournament in Story City at River Bend Golf Course. Gilbert won the tournament with 327 strokes and host R-S was next at 345. West Marshall was third at 390 with the Rams at 452. The R-S JV shot 458 with North Polk (Alleman) at 482, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows 505, and 519 for Grand View Christian (Des Moines).
Junior Maya Telleen led the Rams with an 18 hole total of 103 strokes. Junior Taylor Johnston was next for the Rams at 107, followed by senior Maggie Mikkelsen at 113, and junior Alivia Cornell 129.
