The Drake Relays officially begin today and the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs track teams will compete this afternoon. Elias Arbuckle, Piper Messerly and Maddy Stevens kick off the action tonight for the Mustangs as Arbuckle will run the boys 3200 meter run followed by Messerly and Stevens both competing in the girls 3000 meter run.

The Mustang track teams have representation at the Drake Relays everyday this week as the action continues on Friday. Darien Walker participates in the boys 110 meter high hurdles on Friday, the boys distance medley relay team also compete on tomorrow morning, followed by Stevens and Messerly together again in the 800. Jack Meggison and Sam Mora wrap up the action on Friday for Mustangs in the boys 800. The action continues on Saturday for the DCG relay teams.
