
Perry boy’s track and field traveled to Huxley on Tuesday and competed in the Bomber Relays. The Bluejays finished with 36 team points putting them in 7th place at the meet. The host, Ballard, came away with the win after collecting 168 team points. South Hamilton claimed 2nd with 113 points.
Owen Myers took first in 400M Hurdles (57.53) to lead the Bluejays. Perry also claimed the top spot in the 4X200 (1:34.54).
Perry has the rest of the week off and will return to competitions on Monday at the DMC Track Invitational hosted by Des Moines Christian.
The Jayettes are in Webster City this evening. The Lynx Relays will start at 4:30P with 6 schools scheduled to attend. Perry is coming off a strong performance at the Ram Relays on Monday, where they finished in 2nd place. Coach Hardy’s squad will look to keep the momentum into the Lynx Relays in Webster City.
