One of the buildings in the Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center School Districts will be getting work done to its roof soon.

Superintendent Josh Rasmussen says that they let bids for the Adair – Casey Elementary roof project, and in the April joint School Board meeting reviewed those bids. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that everyone was pleasantly surprised with the bids that came in for the project.

“We’re really happy with the way our bids came in. There’s some competition out there, which was reflected on our bids, (which were) a lot lower than what the anticipated number would be. So, really, really happy with that! Just have a few things to clarify before we approve (the) contract.”

Rasmussen mentions that the School Board plans to award the contract in the May joint Board meeting.
