The Drake Relays are currently happening, as many athletes from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Track and Field Team will start competing tomorrow.

ADM is taking 11 girls, while the boys have 10 individuals participating in the annual race. Tomorrow, senior Kyler Chapman will go in the high jump at 4:30pm, then on the girls side, senior Calli Seehase will compete in the long jump at 6pm. Friday for the girls will feature Bella Smyth, Elise Coghlan, and Josi Dufoe battling in the 100 meter hurdle prelims; London Warmuth in the high jump; Seehase, Dufoe, Aniston Tollari and Jada Grove apart of the 4×200 meter relay; then Tollari, Coghlan, Brecken Morse and Madi James in the 4×400 meter relay. For the boys, Corbin Reed will be in the 110 meter high hurdles; and Zane Johnson, Leyton Gerleman, Jon Hatchitt, and Grant Engleman in the boys 4×200 meter relay.

On Saturday, the Tiger girls will see Smyth, Coghlan, Dufoe, and Haley Nelson in the 4×100 shuttle hurdle relay; Peyton Standley, Grove, Seehase, and Dufoe in the 4×100 meter relay; with Coghlan participating in the 400 meter hurdles. The boys will have Reed, Joseph Kitzinger, Reid Kluesner, and Keaton Kier compete in the shuttle hurdle relay; and Engleman, Gerleman, Hatchitt, and Johnson apart of the 4×100 meter relay. ADM will be at Drake Stadium in Des Moines and Raccoon Valley Radio will bring live updates throughout the competition. The full schedule can be found below.
