The West Central Valley Wildcat boys soccer team has now been ranked number nine in Class 1A for boys soccer by the Iowa High School Athletic Association. The Wildcat boys return to the pitch today after winning the Valley Tournament at home defeating Pella Christian and Tipton.

The Wildcats faced off against Pella Christian first on Saturday picking up a 4-1 victory over the Eagles. Brandon, Rummel, and Diaz would score with Brandon scoring twice in the 4-1 victory. To claim first in the tournament, the Wildcats then faced off against Tipton, defeating the Tigers 3-2 with Brandon, Diaz, and Rummel scoring again in the championship match.

Now ranked #9 in Class 1A the Wildcat boys soccer team prepare for action tonight on the road against the Grand View Christian Thunder. The Wildcat girls take the pitch first at 5pm with the boys to follow at 7.
