The Stuart Public Library is hosting an event for those who consider themselves to have green thumbs, or just enjoy working with plants.
Librarian Rachel Majerus says that they will be having a plant swap at the library. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what individuals can do at the event.
“This is for anybody who has a bit of an interest in gardening, maybe has started some planters, has too many. What we do is you bring in your extra veggie plants, flower seedlings, indoor plants, plant divisions, and then you get to leave with something else that somebody else has brought.”
Majerus mentions that she has also started a few plants at the library, so that there is a larger selection of different plants to choose from. She adds that the plant swap will be at 10am Saturday.
