Perry track and field attended the Ram Relays in Jefferson last night.  The Jayettes claimed second place and the Bluejays finished in fifth.  The top girl’s team was Greene County with 100 points.  The boy’s competition was won by ACGC with 145 team points.

The Jayettes finished with 90.5 points.  Taryn Nehring led the way with a first place finish in the 400M (1:04.43).  She added to the team total with a third place finish in the long jump (14-07.00) and fourth in the 400M.  Perry also saw success in relays claiming third in the 800 Medley, Shuttle Hurdle, and Distance Medley.

The Bluejays top finishes were being in second.  Renzo Saenz claimed second in the 100M (11.8) while the Distance Medley also finished in the silver slot.

No rest for the Bluejays, who will be at Ballard this evening.  The Jayettes return to action Thursday in Webster City.
