The 2025 Greene County Ram Relays were held in Jefferson at Linduska Field on Monday under some of the best weather of the season. Coach Derek Merk’s girls won the team title and ACGC won the title for boys. The Rams scored 100 girls’ points with Perry at 90.5, Carroll 88, Boone 84, Webster City 63.5, ACGC 57, Fort Dodge 47, and 30 points for East Sac County (Lake View). The ACGC boys scored 145 points with Boone at 112, Greene County 108, Carroll 87, Perry 51, East Sac Coounty 45, and 39 for Kuemper Catholic (Carroll).

Winning events for the Greene County girls were the 4 x 400 meter relay in 4:21.16 with junior Becca Anderson, junior Addison Gannon, freshman Ashlynn Ball, and junior Kaycee Pittman, plus senior Emma Ewalt in the discus throw at 119 feet, 11 inches. Senior Payton Kokenge tied for first place in the high jump at 4 feet, 11 inches.

The Greene County boys had winning performances from senior discus thrower Isaac Carman at 156 feet 4 inches, junior Broc Stream in the long jump a 20 feet, 8 inches, and the sprint medley relay in 1:37.37 in meet record time with junior Aden Bardole, sophomore Lincoln Schwander, senior Nick Stream, and junior Drew Wolterman. along with Wolterman winning the 800 meter run in 2:05.53, and Nick Stream taking the 400 meter dash in 51.99 seconds, a school record for the years the Rams have competed as Greene County.
