Greene County hosted Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Monday in high school girls’ golf at Jefferson Community Golf Course. The Rams shot 202 for the round of nine holes while St. Edmond had just three players, not enough for a team score. Junior Maya Telleen shot 44 with a 46 by junior Taylor Johnston. Senior Maggie Mikkelsen recorded a 54 with 56 by junior Alivia Cornell. Telleen was medalist and Johnston was runner-up medalist.

Ram coach Heath Telleen told Raccoon Valley Radio 202 was a great score for the Rams as Jefferson Community Golf Course is a par 36 course while The Hill west of Grand Junction is par 34 and The Hill is where the Rams normally play. “It was beautiful conditions, and Maya, Taylor, Maggie, and Alivia played well!”
