A doubleheader of Perry soccer will be played at Dewey Field tonight.  The Bluejays and Jayettes will both matchup with Central Iowa United this evening in Perry.  CIU is a coop of Baxter, Colfax-Mingo, Collins-Maxwell, West Marshall, and Colo-NESCO.  The boy/girl doubleheader starts at 5:30P when the Bluejays take the pitch.  The Jayettes’ game will follow.

The Perry boys are coming off a tie last night against Marshalltown, 4-4.  They return to Heart of Iowa Conference play tonight against Central Iowa United.  The Bluejays are 1-0 in conference matches while the Trojans sit at 0-2-1.  Perry is a perfect 2-0 against CIU since joining the Heart of Iowa.

The girl’s contest will feature two teams looking for their first conference win.  This is the first try for Perry in a Heart of Iowa match while Central Iowa United 0-2 to start the conference season.  The Jayettes will be at full strength without a track meet taking place today.  The series sits at one and one for these two programs.  Kickoff is set for 7P tonight for the girls and the match will air on KDLS and the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network.
