The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Golf Team is looking to keep their hot start to the 2025 season alive, with a conference road game today.
The Tigers are battling the Bombers at the Ballard Golf and Country Club, seeking win number five. ADM, who’s 4-1 in the early season, lost the first match to Gilbert, but since then has beaten Panorama, Winterset, Carlisle, and Woodward-Granger. Head Coach Dana Brown tells Raccoon Valley Radio that she has full confidence in her team every time they step on the course.
“I think the sky’s the limit with them. Every year, I’m an optimist, I’m telling the girls they can do whatever they believe that they can, and just really trying to build them up. We do have experience, we do have new girls, so it’s kind of that balance, but I feel hopeful that we’ll finish strong in our conference and we’ll take one week at a time.”
In the historical series, the Tigers lead the Bombers 3-1-1, featuring a win last year. Both teams are coming off victories, as Ballard defeated Carroll last Monday, April 14th 216 to 242 and it was ADM with a 204-218 win over Woodward-Granger on Thursday. The match is set to take place at 4pm.
