
Stuart’s city wide clean up is this Friday and Saturday.
Residents of Stuart will be able to get rid of some items that may not be regularly picked up through trash services. Some items that are accepted include trash, batteries, metal and appliances like washers, dryers, freezers and small appliances. There are also items that will be accepted for a fee, with payment due prior to the items being unloaded. A list of these items can be found in this story online. Items not accepted include tires, paint, hazardous waste and recyclable materials.
Items can be taken to the Stuart Street Maintenance Yard at 220 South Fremont Street Friday from 10am to 6pm or Saturday from 8am to 3pm. Larger items can be picked up at residences as well, by contacting Organizer Bob Cook at 515-480-2589 or West Central Valley FFA Advisor Molly Dolch at mdolch@wcv.k12.ia.us before April 25th.
