Perry girl’s soccer played in Boone Friday night.  The Jayettes and Toreadors played to a 1-1 stalemate.  Neither team found the back of the net in the first half as the match sat tied at 0-0.  Boone connected on the first goal of the game in the 72nd minute.  The equalizer would come from Miley Sanchez in the 75th minute.  She beat the keeper going top right from just outside the top of the box.  It was the first for the senior since her sophomore year.  The match finished as a draw 1-1.

The Jayettes move to 3-3-2.

Tomorrow Perry will play their first Heart of Iowa match against Central Iowa United.  The club based out of State Center will travel to Dewey Field at 7P.  The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network and KDLS will have coverage of tomorrow’s match.
