An athlete on the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Soccer Team is hoping to take her squad all the way to the promised land this year.

ADM senior Kennedy Sorber, who is a Midfielder, shares that she’s been playing soccer since she was six years old and admits the atmosphere is the main aspect that keeps her coming back. Sorber believes that the Tigers have the firepower to make a deep championship run, and that first year Head Coach Rachel Harada is making a positive impact on the girls.

“We’re just trying to adjust to new things and be good, and see what this year brings.”

Sorber says that when she’s going through a slump, she can always count on her teammates to cheer her up, while encouraging her in practices. ADM hosted a tournament on Saturday that featured five other schools. They will travel to Nevada tomorrow to take on the Cubs at 7pm.
