Traffic is impacted on a portion of Interstate-80 Saturday morning due to a vehicle on fire.

According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, the westbound lanes of I-80 between exit 104 and exit 100, or three miles west of the Dexter area, is blocked at this time due to a vehicle that is on fire. As first responders and law enforcement clean up the scene, a detour is currently in effect, with traffic re-routed to L Avenue and then to Old Highway 6 and back to the Interstate.
