The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.

The Council held a public hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2025-26 budget, and with no written or spoken comments, they adopted the budget. They also approved a local match for the hazard mitigation assistance program or the Panora Utility Resilience project, and set dates and times for city wide clean up for June 13th. Residents wishing to take part in the city wide clean up must sign up and pay by June 6th to get their approval stickers, and can begin placing items on the curb June 9th. The Council also approved to support a Workforce Housing Tax Incentive Application to the Iowa Economic Development Authority by Origin Homes for a housing project in Panora, and accepted the completion of the Jackson Street Improvement project.
