Guthrie County’s three largest towns are each hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunts today.

The Panora Chamber of Commerce’s event is being held at the city square. Kids are doing crafts and games in Vets Auditorium from 9-10am, with the hunt at 10am, with kids being broken up into multiple age groups. There is also a raffle of some bikes, for which the winner must be present.

In Guthrie Center, children are visiting the Easter Bunny from 10-10:50am and get an Easter Bucket with a raffle ticket taped to it for a prize drawing after the Easter Egg Hunt, at 11am. The hunt is taking place at the Guthrie Center Elementary School playground, with multiple age groups in different places.

In Stuart, the Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Rose Acre Farms and the Stuart Chamber of Commerce is at Lawbaugh Park, with the hunt starting at 1pm. Children will be split into three age groups: four years old and younger, five to seven years old, and eight to ten years old, with the hunt going on no matter the weather.
