
Perry boy’s soccer was back on the road last night. This time for a Heart of Iowa Conference match with Prairie City-Monroe. The Bluejays offensive exploded for their best performance to date with 7 goals in the win, 7-0.
Perry scored 4 goals in the first half including one in the first minute as they led 4-0 after the first 40 minutes. Jacobo Cerna-Gomez finished with three goals as he completed the hat trick for second straight game. The shutout is the fourth straight for the defense and fifth overall.
Perry improves to 3-2-2 and 1-0 in the HOIC. Next up is Marshalltown on Monday at Dewey Field.
