The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.
The Board will hear an update about the city of Jefferson, then hold a public hearing at 9am to discuss entering into a loan agreement and the issuance of general obligation capital loan notes not to exceed $2 million from the general fund for the HVAC project at the Greene County Courthouse. Then following that public hearing, the Board will consider approving a resolution with respect to the public hearing to discuss the proposed authorization of a loan agreement not to exceed $2 million from the general fund for the general obligation capital loan notes.
Additionally, the Board will consider for approval a resolution to transfer funds to the Secondary Roads Department of $653,309 from rural basic and $180,000 from Local Option Sales and Services Tax. They will consider for approval a resolution for a road closure on County Roads P-46 and E-18 for road replacement projects, and the family farm disallowances for property credits. They will also hear an update from Northland Securities about the selling of $11.5 million of the general obligation bonds.
