
April 11th
Christopher Vasquez, age 30, 3207 Bowdion St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violation of Probation Terms.
Pablo Rodriguez, Panora, was driving in the 34000 block of Old Hwy 6 when he swerved to miss a deer and rolled his vehicle into the ditch. He declined EMS and his vehicle received an estimated $5000 damage. The investigation continues.
Bret Alexander, Fort Dodge, was traveling in the 17000 block of Hwy 141, in the left lane, when he attempted to pass Erick Salazar of Perry, on the left shoulder. This caused a collision between the two vehicles. No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Salazar’s vehicle was estimated at $1000. Damage to Mr. Alexander’s vehicle was estimated at $1000. Mr. Alexander was cited for Unsafe Passing.
April 12th
Kaela Schultz, age23, 779 Ashby Dr, Waukee, was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
Loren Cramblit, age 47, 608 11th St, West Des Moines, was arrested for Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked and Driving While License Under Suspension.
Kimberly Dotson, Urbandale, was traveling on Hwy 141 at O Ave, when for an unknown reason, her car left the highway and entered the ditch, striking a light pole. Ms. Dotson was transported to the hospital for evaluation of any injuries.
Makayla Hicks, Van Meter, was traveling in the 22000 block of 360th St when she hit a deer. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $3000.
April 13th
Robert McCartney, age 41, 912 SE 10th Ln, Grimes, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.
Zanabu Sheriff, age 26, 9642 Heightsview Dr, West Des Moines, was arrested for Possession Of Controlled Substance and Operating Whie Under The Influence. She was also cited for Speeding and No Valid Driver’s License.
Kasondra Bundy, age 37, 12814 Havana Rd, Garfield Heights, OH, was arrested for Possession Of Controlled Substance and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.
Tyler Bandy, Adel, was traveling on Old Hwy 6 at G Ave when he hit a deer. There were no injuries reported and damage was estimated at $1500. The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
