The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board will meet in regular session tonight.

The board will have a conversation about potentially making up snow days and determine the last day of school with those changes. The board will also discuss students using cellphones for personal use while in the classroom.

Items on the agenda seeking approval include High School English Language Arts Curriculum revision purchase, pre-school through 12th grade Physical Education Curriculum revision purchases, adding a High School Show Choir during the 2025-26 year, a third board resolution for the new high school construction project, new high school construction testing services, a first resolution for the MidAmerican Electric Distribution Easement, a Pre-Levy Resolution, a window security film for Meadow View Elementary, and a Master Contract approval.

Additional items on the agenda up for approval feature certified employee contracts, plus coaches, sponsors, and directors contracts for 2025-26, a memorandum of understanding for a Strategist Endorsement, a Helpdesk for Information Technology and Facilities, a teacher device purchase, an Innovative Behavioral Therapy Contract, and a new website and communication platform.

The meeting is taking place tonight inside the District Board Room, 215 North 11th Street, at the Administration Center in Adel at 6pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will have the results of the meeting later this week.
