April 8th

Dean Bury, Adel, was slowing to back up his vehicle when he became distracted and struck a utility in the 400 block of 11th street in Dallas Center.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $2000 to his vehicle.  Damage to the utility pole was estimated at $2000.  Mr. Bury was issued a citation for Failure To Maintain Control.

April 9th

Colleen Mawdsley, Madrid, was traveling on Hwy 44 at W Ave, when she onto W Ave, she struck the Stop Sign at that intersection.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $5000 to her vehicle.  Damage to the Stop Sign was estimated at $1500.  Ms. Mawdsley was cited for Failure To Maintain Control.

Corey McDonald, age 35, 6319 Hickman Rd, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Theft 3rd Degree.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
