Midwest Partnership is hosting an event next Thursday, April 17th.

Executive Director Brenda Dudley says that they are holding their fourth annual EmpowerHER event, a program aimed at bringing resources together and helping educate female business owners and entrepreneurs. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the event starts at 5:30pm with a social time and cash bar, and also shares the next item on the agenda.

“We will be starting with an icebreaker at 6 o’clock and we’re going to do the fun heads and tails icebreaker that’s been popular among a lot of events. Then we’ll have a panelist session. have six panelists that will be in attendance. They’ll be covering several topics on contingency planning.”

Dudley mentions that the panelists will cover topics like insurance, law, finances, accounting, marketing and technology. She adds that they are holding the event at Summit Grove in Stuart this year, which is on Northeast 2nd Street next to The Stuart Scoop.
