Greene County was to have gone to the Earlham Coed Track & Field Meet today, but school officials cancelled the meet due to weather conditions. Derek Merk is head coach of the girls and Chad Morton leads the boys’ program. The Greene County teams are scheduled to compete this Thursday at the Ogden Coed Relays. Better weather conditions are expected on Thursday.

The Paton-Churdan girls opened their track & field season on Monday in Audubon at the Wheelerettes Early Bird Meet. Coach Kory Jeschke reported the Rockets did not have any top eight finishes and did not score any points. The P-C boys were postponed  at Audubon today for a 13 team boys’ only meet. The Audubon meet for boys is now set for this Thursday, April 3.
